This year’s first skin care review goes to two new products from The Face Shop that have floored me. Like I said a couple of posts ago, I would be a little more picky when it comes to what I feature on this space so as to give you guys more curated content and I think these new products are a good way to start that new policy.
So The Face Shop recently came out with a new range called Yehwadam and I was able to try their Revitalising Serum and the Snow Lotus Brightening Pearl Capsule Cream. Both are great if you’re looking into adding some oomph into your night time routine – especially on the anti-ageing department.
Happy Halloween, everybody! It’s one of my most favourite holidays. Costumes? Crazy makeup? Sign me up!
That’s why today’s quick post is going to be about a makeup set – something I know will be useful to a lot of people who are into changing their look for a night of fun! It doesn’t hurt either that the name of the product kinda fits today’s holiday too. ????
It’s no secret how much I love my Laneige BB Cushion. I rave about it every chance I get. Simply because, it’s the best in the market. For me, at least, as it works so well with my skin! It stays the whole day, it has a light yet buildable coverage, and a natural-looking finish. It’s definitely my go-to base product since most days, I just can’t seem to handle heavy makeup.
When I was told that the 3rd generation of the BB Cushion was being launched in Malaysia, I couldn’t say no to the invitation for the event. I needed to see it right away!
Has it really been a year since Althea launched?! I can’t believe it. Feels like it was only a few months ago! Time really does fly when you’re having fun and in the past 12 months with Althea, I most certainly did! 😉
I get my Korean beauty products from Althea in the lowest prices imaginable. Every time a package from them arrives, it feels like I actually went to Myeong-dong in Seoul for some serious beauty shopping!
For Althea‘s first birthday, we’re gonna be the ones who will receiving gifts and treats! Awesome, right?!
The celebration and the promotions will be running from today, the 20th of July until the 31st of this month! Here’s what you’ll be getting:
I have to admit that I’ve become quite bored with a lot of blogging events and found myself not in the mood to attend. Mainly because I’m quite busy with so many things and when I find myself having free time, my lazy butt just refused to leave the comforts of our home. If it’s not something that would really pique my interest, I’ve been saying no.
Mamonde coming to Malaysia is something that fell into the category that piques my interest so off I went to Damansara on a weekend which is usually reserved for errands and dates with the husband. “It will only last for 2-3 hours, I promise!” was what I told Alvin that day.
I’m glad I went as I wasn’t disappointed. The event was well-thought off and the products got me really excited! But first, the basics!
Is it just another Korean Beauty Brand?
Mamonde (French word for ‘My World’) is yes, a Korean beauty brand. It’s also under Amore Pacific, Korea’s biggest cosmetics company that also owns Sulwhasoo, Laneige, and Innisfree among others. But what sets Mamonde apart is its use of flowers as the (only) key ingredients for its comprehensive skin care range. They also have makeup but we’ll get to that later.
Amore Pacific’s Research Institute experimented on flowers has been extracting nourishing ingredients that are good for our skin and bottling them up into products. Thus, the brand’s tagline – Inspired by flowers.
Shall we move on to the exciting bit? The products you should check out when they come to Malaysia? 😉
Christmas is just around the corner – and mine actually came early this year after I’ve accumulated quite a number of stuff from Althea in the weeks leading up to the holidays!
Also, for those that have been so curious over the W.Lab Shading and Highlighter sticks that I posted on Instagram and Facebook, I swatched them and gave my first impressions on this video! You’ll just have to watch it through the end though. 😉
